Lawrence Terrill is an American Actor, Director, Award-Winning Filmmaker, Producer, Digital Editor, Screenwriter, Spoken Word Poet, Photographer, Voice-over, Author, Songwriter, Music Producer, Member of the International Society of Poets, Member of Veterans in Media and Entertainment, Member of the Screen Actor’s Guild, and Veteran of the US Air Force.
At the age of eleven, Lawrence started writing skits, songs and discovered a passion for entertainment. After graduating from Murrah High School, he enlisted in the US Air Force then later renewed his love for writing and received several awards for his poetry from the International Society of Poets. Some of the works can be found on Poetry.com and his poetry book “I Have A Reason To Write” is available for purchase at book stores around the world.
During his military tenure, Lawrence received several awards for his Outstanding Service, received a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education Degree (BSOE) for Business Administration and Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University and landed his first Guest Star role in the Golden Globe winning TV show “LOST”. After transitioning from the US Air Force, Lawrence decided to pursue his love for acting full-time and attended the New York Film Academy, in which, he completed their Acting for Film program…graduating at the top of his class. Lawrence has trained with some of New York’s top actors/acting coaches like Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Phylicia Rashad, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Harry Lennix and etc.
Lawrence furthered his knowledge in the entertainment industry by returning back to the New York Film Academy and studying Digital Editing, Screenwriting, Producing, Filmmaking, and Photography. He has filmed and acted in over 40 films, TV shows & commercials.
